The subject of homosexuality is very much at the forefront of Christian ethical discussion at the present time. Some of the debate is highly technical, and Mr Wright has entered into it elsewhere (see n. 4) to correct mistaken interpretations. We are gratiful to him for this essay written at a more popular level; it was originally presented as a Seminar at Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH, and is printed as delivered.
